Pentecost | Robin Smith

In his final Sunday with us at St Matts, our ordinand Robin shares a message on Pentecost. At Pentecost we remember and celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of Christian Church and the beginning of its mission to the world- joining in what God is doing by his Spirit and through his church to bring his love, healing and wholeness to the world and restore all things and all people to himself. At Pentecost we discover that Gods love- experienced as we receive the gift of God’s Spirit- is available to us all as we turn back to him with all our hearts, are baptised, ask to be filled and then wait on him to fill us, just as they did at Pentecost!
