Services!
Sundays at Eleven
At the Eleven you’ll be joining around 40-50 other people for a relaxed service. Arrive from 1030 for coffee and pastries- this is really important by the way- it’s part of the service really, not just an add on- time to get to know each other! We tend to spend some time in worship singing a few songs together led by a small band. We love Jesus so we want to make space both to praise him with lively noisy songs, and also to reflect more quietly on how wonderful he is. There is space to chat or activities for the kids related to the passage for the day and then a talk from the Bible. You are really welcome whatever age or stage of faith you are at.
Kids
We absolutely love kids and families - if you are looking for a church or just a fun place to be on a Sunday morning we would love to connect with you! At the moment we are all in together for the whole of our service each week (partly because we love being together and partly because it will take some time to sort out break out spaces int he church where kids could meet for their own group). Kids activities are built into the service and they can either join on our tables at the front or sit with family. We are hoping to get a kids group going in the new year.
Tuesdays at Ten
On Tuesdays we have an informal but slightly more traditional midweek service. There’s singing (sometimes on the organ, occasionally on guitar), Bible, prayer, friendship and always lots of cake and coffee. It’s a great change to pause in the middle of the week and to catch up or make new friends! This is such a welcoming community to join and we would LOVE to see you there.
What else do I need to know?
At the moment, our Church building is a bit of a work in progress! As such, we only have one toilet and unfortunately it is not accessible for those with additional mobility needs. We also don’t currently have a heating system - so wrap up warm and we’ll provide lots of tea and coffee!
Nevertheless, everybody is really welcome to join us on the journey as we seek to love our building back to life!
