Kids and Student Worship

Sunday Worship Team
For those wanting to audition for the Sunday’s team, you'll need to book an audition. Before you book, there is some important information you need to know.
Handbook
We have put together an audition handbook which outlines all the key information you'll need to be successful with your audition - it covers what you need to bring, what level of competency and skillset we are looking for, as well as what songs you should prepare to play before hand. Download it and read through all the parts which are specific to your instrument - any questions get in touch.
Audition Information
Our auditions last 35/45 minutes at a time.
Your Audition will be with the Executive Director Claire, as well as possibly a member of staff or member of the Worship Team.
You will be able to access the church using the vestry door which is located in the ally between the church and church hall.
Make sure you prepare the 2 songs you have chosen from the handbook in advance and remember to bring a pair of wired headphones, the audition will not be able to go ahead without them unfortunately - so please make sure you bring them!
Feedback
We give feedback to everyone who auditions regardless of outcome. Do take this on board, particularly if you are not successful in your auditions, as we will aim to outline which areas we'd love to see you grown in and possibly come and audition again at a later date.
Decisions
Ultimately the decision that is made following your audition of whether you join the team immediately or not, is always made through the lens of wanting to see people flourish and thriving in the position they are in, rather than setting people up to fail. It is also likely that if we don't feel being part of the Sunday team is right for you at the onset, there are a number of other worship teams - such as students and kids worship which we'd love to explore with you if you're interested.
Cancellations
If you can't make the audition time you booked, please let Claire know as soon as possible. Equally, if for any reason we become unavailable for the time you have booked, we will let you know through the contact information you provided as soon as possible.
No longer interested?
If you are no longer interested in joining the team, then that’s no problem. Use the button to fill out a very short form and we will take you off the list.
