Worship Team Recommitment

For those who missed our Worship Team Vision Night on the 28th, we missed you
and would love if you could make it to the next one we have in a few months!
Details to follow.

During the night, we went through the worship handbook I have put together
The most up-to-date copy can be downloaded here

After going through it, everyone was officially removed from the team, we spent some time in worship and everyone had the opportunity to recommit to the worship team if they felt able.

This isn’t signing your life away, if you commit, you are as always able to step down at any point you are able to serve as much or as little as you would like.

The heart behind recommitting is just an acknowledgement of the commitment we do make by serving on the team (you will see in the handbook, there is nothing in the expectations section which should come as a surprise, we are all doing them already) But I think there it is value in, each year re-commiting to the values, vision and expectations we hold as a worship team.

For those who missed the evening, I’d love you to do the same. The commitments and expectations we place on those on the team aren’t trivial, they require thought and prayer, and if you don’t feel you are able to commit at this time, then its best for you and the wider team if you take a step back (this also doesn't need to be permanent).

In order to commit to this new vision we’ve set out in the handbook - again make sure you’ve read through it and can feel you can commit - please fill in the form below as soon as possible. Equally, if you don’t feel at this time you can commit to the expectations we’ve set out in the handbook, please fill out the form and choose that option. Again as sad as we would be to not have you serving, its better to do that and finish well then to run into a time where you are unable to meet the expectations down the line.

As well as acknowledging your commitment, I’d love if you could write a prayer for the worship team as we enter this new season, as well as writing something you want to work on over the next year - we’ll revisit these next year and see how we’ve done!

If any of that isn’t clear, give me a message! phil@stmplymouth.org.uk, 07554623446
